After breakfast, have a half-day guided tour to visit the Church of Our Lady of the Victory, which houses the image of “Sto. Nino del Praga”. Visit also the enormous St. Vitus Cathedral with its gilded grand chapels studded with semi-precious stones; Old Royal Palace, the Basilica of St. George, Daliborka Tower and Golden Lane. You will also see the Astronomical Clock in the Old Town. Visit to St. Nicholas Church at Lesser Town. Afternoon is free at leisure. Have dinner at a local restaurant the back to hotel for overnight.

AUG 30 (WED) PRAGUE / CZESTOCHOWA

After breakfast and check-out, have a long distance drive to Czestochowa. Upon arrival in the afternoon, have some free time at leisure. Check-in at hotel for dinner and overnight.

AUG 31 (THU) CZESTOCHOWA / AUSCHWITZ / KRAKOW

Breakfast and check-out at hotel. Have a half-day guided tour to visit The Black Madonna (Jasna Gora) Monastery which stood the onslaught of the Swedish forces during the religious wars of the 17th century. Today, it has become a pilgrimage site for devotees all over the world, who venerate the icon of the Black Madonna, believed to have been painted by St. Luke. Drive to Auschwitz and have a half-day guided tour to visit the Auschwitz & Birkenau concentration camps. Drive to Krakow and transfer to hotel for check-in, dinner and overnight.

SEP 01 (FRI) KRAKOW / WADOWICE / WIELICZKA / KRAKOW

After breakfast, drive to Wadowice. Have a guided tour to visit the Museum of St. Joh Paul II. Then proceed to Wieliczka and have a guided tour to visit Saltmines Museum. Drive back to Krakow. Have dinner at a local restaurant before returning to hotelfor overnight.

SEP 02 (SAT) KRAKOW

After breakfast, we will visit the gothic of St. Mary’s Church built in the 14th century, and the Convent of the Sisters of the Divine Mercy, where Sister Faustina, the originator of the3 O’clock Habit, died while serving as a nun. See also the Sanctuary of Divine Mercy in Krakow’s district of Lagiewniki. Have some free time at leisure then return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

SEP 03 (SUN) KRAKOW / BUDAPEST

After breakfast and check-out at the hotel, have a long distance drive to Budapest. Have some city orientation drive then proceed to the hotel for check-in, dinner and overnight.

SEP 04 (MON) BUDAPEST

After breakfast, have a half-day guided tour at the Budapest to see Fishermen’s Bastion (Upper floor) and the Mathias Church (Matyas Templom). Afternoon is free at leisure. Have dinner at a local restaurant before transfer to hotel for overnight stay.

Drive to Munich airport to catch fight to Lourdes – one of the great pilgrimage shrines in the world, where in the Grotto of Massabielle, a beautiful lady revealed herself to a young sick child named Bernadette, that she is the Immaculate Concepcion. Proceed to hotel for check-in, dinner and overnight.

SEP 10 (SUN) LOURDES

Breakfast at the hotel. Concelebrate Mass at the Grotto of Lourdes. Then we’ll have a half-day guided tour on foot to the Sanctuaries in Lourdes. Visit to Boly Mill where Bernadette was born in 1844. Visit to the Museum of Bernadette (or Musee Notre Dame). At your free time in the afternoon, you may walk the Way of the Cross, pray the rosary, drink the Holy Water, experience the miraculous baths (if open). You may also join the pilgrims around the world for a torch light procession and Rosary in the evening. Have dinner and overnight at hotel.

SEP 11 (MON) LOURDES / SALAMANCA

After breakfast and check-out at the hotel, have a long distance drive to Salamanca. Transfer to hotel for check-in, dinner and overnight.

SEP 12 (TUE) SALAMANCA / FATIMA

PILGRIMAGE CHAPLAIN’S PROFILE:FR. DAVE T. CONCEPCION

Fr. Dave Concepcion is the Parish Priest of Sta. Maria Goretti Parish, the church hidden like a pearl in the oyster called the Pope Pius XII Catholic Center along United Nations Avenue in Manila’s Paco District.

He is the President of Catholic Travel Inc. and has journeyed with many pilgrims to the Holy Land and other holy sites around the world as pilgrimage chaplain.

Fr. Dave is a sought after homilist and retreat master known for reflections that lead one to introspection and a deeper relationship with God. He reaches a greater audience on Radio Veritas846 as a regular co-anchor on Pamilya Mo, Pamilya Ko (Mondays, 10-11:55am) where he shares his reflections on the Gospel.

Aside from his daily masses at Sta. Maria Goretti Parish, he presides the Monday 5:45pm and 7pm Eucharistic Celebration at the Sto, Niño de Paz chapel in Greenbelt and the Saturday 12:15pm at the Chapel of the Eucharistic Lord in Megamall.

He teaches Fundamental Liturgy at the Holy Apostles Senior Seminary, the seminary for late vocations of which he is an alumnus.

Fr. Dave is the Spiritual Director of the Rivers of Living Water Catholic Community.
