Eastern Europe Pilgrimage with FR. ARMAND ROBLEZA

Upon arrival in Geneva, we will proceed to Annecy. Transfer to the hotel for check-in. Take some rest after the long flight. Have dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel. We will have a guided tour to visit the Basilica of the Visitation where the body of Saints Francis of Sales and Chantal are kept; see the Old Annecy town, the place where St. Francis minister during his time; visit Iglise de St. Francis of Sales; view the Lake of Annecy. Rest of the time is free at leisure. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Breakfast and check-out. Drive to Turin. Upon arrival, we will have a guided tour which includes visiting the Turin Cathedral (St. John the Baptist Basilica) and Mary Help of Christians Basilica. Visit the Chapel of the Holy Shroud where the Shroud of Turin is kept; see the town of Chieri, a town and commune in the Metropolitan City of Turin, Piedmont, located about 13 km southeast of Turin. Continue driving to Colle don Bosco. We will see the place where Don Bosco was born. Transfer to the hotel in Turin for check-in, dinner and overnight.

Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Drive to Interlaken to view the Victoria Jungfrau Inerlaken Hotel. Continue driving to Iseltwald to have a photo stop at the Iseltwald village on Lake Brienz, including the pier (site of the Korean series Crash Landing on You). Then proceed to Grindelwald. Have some free time. Transfer to the hotel in Zurich for check-in, dinner and overnight.

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Engelberg. Experience the round-trip cable car to Mt. Titlis. Then drive to Lucerne. Have a sightseeing tour on foot of this fascinating city (without guide). See the Kapellbruecke or the more famously known Chapel Bridge, the oldest wooden bridge in Europe and one of Switzerland’s main tourist attractions. See also the Lion Monument, Old Town and Lucerne Lake. Have some free time for your chance to shop for your Swiss watches and other souvenirs around the city. Drive back to Zurich. Have dinner at an international restaurant before returning to the hotel for overnight stay.

Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Have a long-distance drive to Innsbruck. Upon arrival, have a guided tour on foot to view the Golden Roof, Hofburg, Innsbruck Cathedral, City Hall and St. Anne’s Column. Rest of the time is free at your own leisure. Transfer to the hotel for check-in, dinner and overnight.

Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Have a long-distance drive to Salzburg. Have a guided tour to include the view of Mirabell Gardens, Mozart’s Birthplace, and Old Town. Rest of the time is free at your own leisure. Transfer to the hotel for check-in, dinner and overnight.

Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Have a long-distance drive to Ljubljana. Have a guided sightseeing tour to include the photo stops at the City Hall, Dragon Bridge, St. Nicholas Church, Triple Bridge and Robba Fountain. Transfer to the hotel for check-in, dinner and overnight.

Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Have a long-distance drive to Zagreb. Have a guided sightseeing tour to include the view of Zagreb Cathedral, Bloody Bridge Street, St. Mark’s Square, Parliament Building, Lotrscak Tower, and Tkalciceva Street. Rest of the time is free at your own leisure. Transfer to the hotel for check-in, dinner and overnight.

Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Have a long-distance drive to Budapest. Have a guided sightseeing tour to include the view of the Chain Bridge, Elizabeth Bridge, Buda Castle and Parliament. See also the Andrassy Street, Heroes Square, and Opera House. Entrance to Fisherman’s Bastion. Transfer to the hotel for check-in, dinner and overnight.

Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Have a long-distance drive to Bratislava. Have a guided sightseeing tour to include the view of St. Martin’s Cathedral, Bridge of the Slovak National Uprising, Franciscan Church, the Jesuit Church, and Bratislava Castle. Continue driving to Vienna. Transfer to the hotel for check-in, dinner and overnight.

Breakfast at the hotel. Have a half-day guided tour to include entrance to Schoenbrunn Palace. Visit the St. Stephen’s Cathedral. Have dinner at an international restaurant before returning to the hotel for overnight stay.

Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Have a long-distance drive to Prague. Upon arrival, have some free time before transfer to the hotel for check-in, dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, have a full-day guided tour to visit the Prague Castle. Visit also the enormous St. Vitus Cathedral with its gilded grand chapels studded with semi-precious stones; Old Royal Palace, the Basilica of St. George, Daliborka Tower and Golden Lane. You will also view the Astronomical Clock in the Old Town Square; see The Dancing House, Charles Bridge and National Theater. Continue to the Church of Our Lady of the Victorious, which houses the image of “Sto. Nino del Praga”. Have dinner at an international restaurant before returning to the hotel for overnight stay.

After breakfast and check-out at the hotel, have a long- distance drive to Wroclaw. Have a half-day guided sightseeing tour to view the Gothic churches, Old Town, Renaissance and Baroque tenement houses, Wroclaw University. Transfer to the hotel for check-in, dinner and overnight.

After breakfast and check-out at the hotel, have a long-distance drive to Wadowice. Have a guided tour which includes entrance to House of Pope St. John Paul II. View the Family Home of John Paul II and Minor Basilica of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Then proceed to Krakow. Have dinner at an international restaurant before transfer to the hotel for check-in and overnight.

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Wieliczka and have a guided tour of the Wieliczka Saltmine and see the Chapel St. Kinga (please do not bring bags inside the museum). Then drive to Lagiewniki. Have a guided tour to visit the St. Faustina Chapel, including the Shrine of Divine Mercy. Have dinner and overnight at the hotel in Krakow.

After breakfast and check-out, have a long-distance drive to Auschwitz. Have a guided tour to visit the Auschwitz concentration camp (please do not bring bags inside the camps). Continue to Czestochowa. Upon arrival in the afternoon, have a guided tour to visit The Black Madonna (Jasna Gora) Monastery which stood the onslaught of the Swedish forces during the religious wars of the 17th century. Today, it has become a pilgrimage site for devotees all over the world, who venerate the icon of the Black Madonna, believed to have been painted by St. Luke. Then have another long-distance drive to Warsaw. Transfer to the hotel for check-in, dinner and overnight.

Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Transfer to Warsaw airport to catch your flight back to Manila.
