Itinerary: VILNIUS / TRAKAI / SILUVA / WARSAW / CZESTOCHOWA / AUSCHWITZ / KRAKOW / WIELICZKA / LAGIEWNIKI / WADOWICE / WROCLAW / PRAGUE / VIENNA / BRATISLAVA / BUDAPEST
Upon arrival in Vilnius, we will celebrate a private Mass at one of the Catholic churches. Transfer to the hotel for check-in. Rest of the time is free at your own (no coach provided during free time) Have dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel. Start with our full-day guided city tour which include visits to St. Peter’s & St. Paul’s Church, Gediminas Castle Tower, Vilnus Cathedral (UNESCO listed), St. Anne Church. We will also visit the Sanctuary of the Divine Mercy and the Church of St. Casimir. Have a view of the Gates of Dawn, Town Hall Square, Constitution of the Republic of Uzupis. Drive back to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Trakai and see the Trakai Castle. Continue on to Siluva, one of Lithuania’s most significant pilgrimage sites, to view the Siluva Shrine of Our Lady. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Have a long-distance drive to Warsaw. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel for check-in, dinner and overnight.
Have breakfast at the hotel. Have a full-day guided tour to view The Old Town, Lazienski Park, Palace on the Isle, Warsaw Ghetto and Royal Castle. View also the Archathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist. Visit to Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy. Return to the hotel to have dinner and overnight.
After breakfast and check-out, have a long-distance drive to Czestochowa. Upon arrival, have a half-day guided tour to visit The Black Madonna (Jasna Gora) Monastery which stood the onslaught of the Swedish forces during the religious wars of the 17th century. Today, it has become a pilgrimage site for devotees all over the world, who venerate the icon of the Black Madonna, believed to have been painted by St. Luke. Continue to Auschwitz. Have a guided tour to visit the Auschwitz concentration camp. This is where St. Maximillan Maria Kolbe OFMConv volunteered to die in place of a man named Franciszek Gajowniczek. Afterwards, we will continue to drive to Krakow. Transfer to the hotel for check-in, dinner and overnight.
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Wieliczka and have a guided tour of the Wieliczka Saltmine and see the Chapel St. Kinga. Then drive to Lagiewniki. Have a guided tour to visit the St. Faustina Chapel, including the Shrine of Divine Mercy. Have dinner and overnight at the hotel in Krakow.
After breakfast and check-out at the hotel, we will drive to Wadowice. Have a guided tour which includes entrance to the House of Pope St. John Paul II. View the Family Home of John Paul II and the Minor Basilica of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Continue driving to Wroclow. Transfer to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast and check-out at the hotel, have a half-day guided sightseeing tour to view the Gothic churches, Old Town, Renaissance and Baroque tenement houses, Wroclaw University. Have a long- distance drive to Prague. Transfer to the hotel for check-in, dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, have a full-day guided tour to visit the Prague Castle. Visit also the enormous St. Vitus Cathedral with its gilded grand chapels studded with semi-precious stones; Old Royal Palace, the Basilica of St. George, Daliborka Tower and Golden Lane. You will also view the Astronomical Clock in the Old Town Square; see The Dancing House, Charles Bridge and National Theater. Continue to the Church of Our Lady of the Victory, which houses the image of “Sto. Nino del Praga”. Have dinner at an international restaurant before returning to the hotel for overnight stay.
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Have a long-distance drive to Vienna. Upon arrival, have some free time before transfer to the hotel for check-in, dinner and overnight.
Breakfast at the hotel. Have a half-day guided tour to include entrance to Schoenbrunn Palace. Visit the St. Stephen’s Cathedral. Have dinner at an international restaurant before returning to the hotel for overnight stay.
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Have a long-distance drive to Bratislava. Have a guided sightseeing tour to include the view of St. Martin’s Cathedral, the Most Holy Savior (Jesuit Church), the Church of the Annunciation, and Bratislava Castle. Continue driving to Budapest. Transfer to the hotel for check-in, dinner and overnight.
Breakfast at the hotel. Have a guided sightseeing tour to include the view of the Szechenyi Chain Bridge, Elizabeth Bridge, Buda Castle and Hungarian Parliament Building. See also the Andrassy Street, Heroes Square, and Hungarian State Opera House. Entrance to Fisherman’s Bastion. Experience the Cruise along the Blue Danube. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel (1000hrs). Have some free time before transfer to Budapest airport to catch your flight back to Manila.
