Pilgrimage to Italy with FR. KEVIN LUTHER C. CRISOSTOMO

Upon arrival in Milan in the afternoon, celebrate private Mass at one of the Catholic Churches. Proceed to the hotel for check-in, dinner and overnight.

Breakfast at the hotel. Have a half-day guided tour to visit the Duomo (Cathedral). View of Sforza Castle, La Scala Theatre and Da Vinci Statue. Rest of the time is free at leisure at the Galleria Emmanuelle Vittorio. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Have a long- distance drive to Venice. Upon arrival at Venice Tronchetto Terminal, we will have a private boat transfer to Piazza San Marco to have a guided city tour on foot of Venice including a photo stop at the Doge’s Palace, and a view of the Bridge of Sighs. Visit San Marco Basilica and see St. Mark’s Piazza. Have the chance to see the Glass Blowing demonstration. Then have another private boat ride leaving from Tronchetto. Drive to Padova. Transfer to the hotel for check-in, dinner and overnight.

After breakfast at the hotel, have a half-day guided tour in Padova which includes a visit to the Basilica de San Antonio. Have some free time for private devotions. Rest of the time is free on your own leisure. Have dinner at an international restaurant before returning to the hotel for overnight stay.

After breakfast and check out at the hotel, drive to Florence. Have a half-day guided tour on foot of the city of Florence, which includes visit to the Florence Cathedral (Duomo Santa Maria del Fiore); outside view and photo stop of the Baptistry (Battistero), Piazza Michelangelo, Giotto’s Bell Tower and Piazza del a Signoria. Transfer to the hotel for check-in, dinner and overnight.

Breakfast and check-out. Drive to Pisa. Upon arrival, have a short sightseeing tour on foot (without guide) of the Leaning Tower of Pisa, see the campanile, or freestanding bell tower, of the cathedral of the Italian city of Pisa. It is situated behind the Cathedral and is the third oldest structure in Pisa's Cathedral Square. Then, we will proceed for a long-distance drive to Assisi. Transfer to the hotel for check-in, dinner and overnight.

After breakfast and check out at the hotel, we will have a half-day guided tour on foot to visit the Lower (Inferiore) and the Upper (Superiore) Basilica of St. Francis and the Basilica Santa Maria Degli Angeli to see the Thornless Rose bush and Porziuncola Chapel located inside the church. Afterwards, have a long-distance drive to Manoppello. Visit the Holy Face of Manoppello located at the Basilica del Volto Santo di Manoppello. Proceed to the hotel in Chieti for check-in, dinner and overnight.

After breakfast and check out at the hotel, have a short-distance drive to Lanciano. Have a guided tour and visit to San Francesco Church (Santuario del Miracolo Eucaristico). Continue for a long-distance drive to San Giovanni Rotondo. Upon 

arrival, have a half- day guided tour on foot to visit the Shrine of St. Padre Pio, and the Church of Our Lady of Grace (Santa Maria delle Grazie). Transfer to the hotel for check-in, dinner and overnight.

Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Drive to Loreto to visit Our Lady of Loreto. Have a long-distance drive to Rome. Transfer to the hotel for check-in, dinner and overnight.

Breakfast at the hotel. Have a half-day guided tour of the Major Basilicas: San Giovanni in Laterano (UNESCO listed), Basilica of Sta. Maria Maggiore, St. Paul Outside the Walls and the Holy Steps (Scala Santa). Rest of the time is free at leisure. Have dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Have an early or boxed breakfast. We will attend the General Papal Audience. Afterwards, we will have a half-day guided tour to see the outside view of Colosseum, Arch of Constantine, Monument Vittorio Emanuelle II, Circus Maximus. Have photo stops at Piazza Navona, Pantheon Church, Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. Have dinner at an international restaurant before returning to the hotel for overnight stay.

After breakfast and check-out, we will have a half-day guided tour to visit the Vatican Museum and The Sistine Chapel. Visit also St. Peter’s Basilica - destination of all Catholics coming from all over the world. Transfer to Rome airport for your flight back to Manila.
