Itinerary
Upon arrival the evening, transfer to the hotel in Lisbon for check-in and overnight. We will only serve sandwiches due to the late arrival. Dinner will be during your flight from Dubai to Lisbon.
Breakfast and check-out. We will have a short-guided tour to visit the Church of St. Antonio Lisboa. Have a view of Belem Tower, Monument to the Discoveries, Baixa, Praca do Comercio and Suspension Bridge; visit to Jeronimo’s Monastery. Then drive to Santarem. Visit the Church of St. Stephen (Marvila / Milagre). Proceed to Fatima. Transfer to the hotel for check-in, dinner and overnight.
Have breakfast at the hotel. Commence a half-day guided tour of the Lady of Fatima Basilica, to visit the house of Lucia and the house of Francisco and Jacinta. Celebrate private Mass. Afternoon is free at leisure for your private devotion. In the evening after dinner, you may wish to participate at the Candlelight Procession and evening Rosary.
After breakfast and check-out at the hotel, have a long-distance drive to Salamanca. Upon arrival, you will have short free time to explore the plaza on foot. You will have photo stops of University of Salamanca, Plaza Mayor, Old Cathedral (Catedral Vieja), New Cathedral (Catedral Nueva) and Palacio de Monterrey. Check-in, dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Have a long-distance drive to Lourdes - one of the great pilgrimage shrines in the world, where in the Grotto of Massabielle, a beautiful lady revealed herself to a young sick child named Bernadette, that she is the Immaculate Concepcion. Transfer to the hotel for check-in, dinner and overnight.
Breakfast at the hotel. Concelebrate Mass at the Grotto of Lourdes. Then we'll have a half-day guided tour on foot to the Sanctuaries in Lourdes. Visit to the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary, the Boly Water-mill (St. Bernadette’s birth place). Do the Way of the Cross, pray the rosary, drink the Holy Water, visit the Miraculous baths (if open) in your free time in the afternoon. You may also join the pilgrims around the world for a torch light procession and Rosary in the evening. Have dinner and overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast and check-out, have a long-distance transfer to Avignon via Toulouse. Proceed to the hotel for check-in, dinner and overnight.
After breakfast and check-out, have a guided tour in Avignon to visit the Cathedral of Notre Dame des Doms and also the Palais des Papes. Continue for a long-distance drive to Genoa. Transfer to the hotel for check-in, dinner and overnight.
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Journey on to Florence, the "flower" of the Renaissance. Meet your local guide for a walking tour of the Old Town. Visit the Florence Cathedral (Duomo) and view the Baptistery and Giotto’s bell tower. Celebrate private Mass at San Miniato Al Monte Church. Check in at your hotel for dinner and overnight.
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Drive to Assisi. Have a half-day guided tour on foot to visit St. Mary of the Angels Basilica. See also the Thornless Rose Bush and Porziuncula Chapel inside the church. Then visit Santa Chiara Basilica, a 13th- century church that houses the relics of St. Clare, friend and protégé of St. Francis of Assisi; as well as the miraculous crucifix that spoke to Francis. Visit the Lower (Inferiore) and the Upper (Superiore) Basilica of St. Francis. Check-in, dinner and overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast and check-out at the hotel, drive to Lanciano to visit the San Francesco Church (Santuario del Miracolo Eucaristico). Proceed to Monte Sant’ Angelo and have a brief city tour on foot (without guide). Visit the Sanctuary of Saint Michael the Archangel. Then drive to San Giovanni Rotondo. Transfer to the hotel for check-in, dinner and overnight.
After breakfast and check out at the hotel, we will have a guided tour on foot to visit the Shrine of St. Padre Pio, and the Church of St. Mary of Grace (Santa Maria delle Grazie). Have a long-distance drive to Rome. Transfer to the hotel for check-in, dinner and overnight.
Breakfast at the hotel. Have a guided tour to visit the Major Basilicas: Basilica of San Giovanni in Laterano (UNESCO listed), the Holy Steps (Scala Santa). We will also visit the nearby St. Croce in Gerusalemme Basilica and see the original relics of the Holy cross of Christ. Visit the Basilica of Sta. Maria Maggiore, and the Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls. Have dinner at an international restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.
Have breakfast at the hotel. Have a half-day guided tour to see the outside view of the Monument Vittorio Emanuelle II, Circus Maximus. Have a photo stop at Colosseum, Arch of Constantine, Roman Forum, Piazza Navona, Pantheon Church, Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. We will have a guided tour to visit the Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel. Visit also the St. Peter Basilica, destination of all Catholics coming from all over the world. Have some free time for last-minute shopping. Transfer to Rome airport to catch your flight back to Manila.
